I guess I will start it this week A couple of real obscure ones. The Tarr was only in business for about 6 years from my reseach. The Delphos was considerably longer and is a bit of a shout out to my Mother-in-law and her family as that is their hometown

Some pics of the two Triangle Pacific cars....... The Moloco car is done, the Athearn Genisis car needs a bit of work - mostly a few more parts and a little paint. Here's a prototype shot of TPFX 5510, I'm using it as a reference - note the door is different. Here I'm adding some Tangent Scale Models roof walk supports. I masked the roof off and shot some light gray at it, then "salted" the roof to get the model ready to be weathered.Hopefully it'll be done next week. Have a great Sunday, Mark Hills

I'll share a few Rock Island freight cars I've been working on. First up is an Athearn 65' Mil Gon. I removed the factory ATSF lettering and relettered the car with some homemade decals I printed. This car is not 100% accurate. The more I looked the more I found wrong, but it's a decent stand in if you don't look at the ends. Next up is a factory painted Genesis car with some reweigh patches, ACI and COTS labels added. The last car is the reworked Atlas PS-2 I showed a couple weeks ago. I ended up striping the wrong font factory lettering and went with the simplified herald only scheme. It got plenty of patches and weathered for cement service.

Finished another customized Bowser SD40-2 this week. I've got more of these than I really need, but I absolutely love everything GMD and these Bowser models are just great.
I bought this one as a CN/Ontario Hydro unit (ex CP Rail, obviously), so I had to start by removing the CN numbers and logos. Then added new CP number decals, small Multimarks, and logos to turn it back into a CP loco. I also removed the class lights, changed all the bearings to the Timken open style, relocated the horn to the rear, and added Cal Scale mirrors and Cannon and Co dynamic brake fans. Just need the radiator fans to be available again and I will do those too. I added a switch broom to the nose as a finishing touch.
I also did my usual internal stuff, I hacked a big enough chunk out of the rear weight to put an Athearn Dual Cube speaker in, and Tsunami 2 decoder.

danpik Now I'm thirsty! Nice looking Trangle boxcars. I wasn't sure if the were common crossing the Rockies. I don't have any pics of them doing so but as it is said "no one was there everyday" so who knows. The cars are both marked for return to the BCOL in North Van, they easily could have come south via BN/WP to Ogden, Nick's shots have them on the BN and UP. Triangle Pacific evidently had 3 mills on the west coast and 10 or so locations on the east coast.
