Honestly kinda brilliant. ST is mega-over with lots of younger modelers in the hobby, talking to the guys 10-15 years younger than me down at the club, this company walks on water. They all watch these railfan cams religiously, I don't get the allure of such a thing, but it has an audience that bleeds over with an existing customer base.

I'm 60 years old, and I watch VR all the time; have a window open on the computer when I'm working.

ScaleTrains didn't buy Virtual Railfan; they acquired a stake in it -- think part ownership, maybe as little as just a few percent.

Perhaps Scale Trains wants to see more railcams in Tennessee! The money from Scale Trains will certainly help VRF with new projects and to add new locations.
