Were 2893 cubic foot covered hoppers used for grain(wheat, corn,etc) in the mid 1950's to mid 1960's?

I think 2893's also carried the same type of "dense" loads as the high-capacity 2-bay covered hoppers, especially later in their service lives.

The ideal density for a 2893 car, if it's a 70 ton car, is 48 lbs per cubic foot.

Anything denser will have to be a partial fill. And waste available volume.
Anything lighter will weigh less than maximum load. And waste available weight capacity.

So you want something around 48 lbs/cuft.
