I like that they are offering three options: DC, DCC, and DCC with sound.
MSRP of $230 for a DCC-equiped unit is nice.
Will it run like a KATO?

It should. They already make E8s and the run like swiss watches. Kato has shifted to giving the DC / DCC / Sound trifecta. DC is straight from the factory. DCC is also factory fitted. Sound is shipped to a contractor in the states that does all the chassis machining / decoder installs. Delivery dates vary depending on which style you order. I've gotten DC and DCC of various locos from them in N and all have run flawlessly. |
