When I was in the 5th grade my older 9th grade sister would play In A Gadda Da Vida and free style dance to it in the living room in hour Air Force base house in northern California. Major blast from the past.

Whew, ends are FINALLY done. What you see here took a very long time to accomplish, despite the frequency of my updates. While not perfect workmanship by any means, I am personally satisfied with the result and will continue trying to do better. Regardless, I hope watching me build up these ends was enjoyable and maybe even inspiring.

The screen doors are particularly nicely done details I'd more than likely forget about. Kudos,

Also bring back the roof pieces, shaping these over the table edge was a bit tricky.

Engineering time, you can see all the parts, tools and hopefully the figurative smoke rising from my head at this point. What am I doing? LOL

Engineering continues, after careful thought it was decided to first mount the cupola.

That worked out well, so all five cupolas were glued in place with Weldbond. Don't want to use ACC due to nearby fume-sensitive cupola windows.

The roof sections remain nearby to help in the planning as well.

OK I think this could work. The .010 roof pieces need to be formed to a consistent shape so everything fits together. I made up a crude jig to help bend consistent rafters out of .032 wire and am thinking of .040 x .040 styrene strip for the edges and ends.

Great work!! These are really coming together nicely Thanks for the supportive comment. I know my work isn't nearly to the same quality level as yours but the ongoing-improvement journey is fun. I appreciate you chiming in.

The running board supports are straight despite what it looks like in this photo. Once the rafters are attached w ACC everything will be held to shape.

Hand paint the styrene edge strips yellow and allow to dry.

Install metal rafters, ensuring they align to achieve desired roof curvature. ACC used here to achieve fast dry once rafters pressed into place.

Carefully measure all roof edges, cut styrene strips and mount to painting handle.

Build the rafters out of .032 tichy wire and bend to shape according to the crude jig on the left. No need for paint as these will be inside and forever out of view.

^ Thanks Evan, I am actually struggling to reach the finish line on these. Yet, the self-imposed requirement to maintain daily updates provides a BIT of motivation to continue. Still feels like I'm running out of steam here so don't be surprised if the daily updates cease soon. Finalizing the roofs and completing final detailing feels a little intense. Thoughts welcome.
