I testing some new speakers out that have the low end what an electronic engineer at work said would be very good low end. I will ask him tomorrow at work, but thought I would also ask here.
I need to put in a dual speaker setup. The distance between speakers is 0.100" to 0.120". When I put them that close just by themselves, the magnets want to push each other away. It is almost at the point where they do not, but not quite. They do want to push away. So my question is. Would this possibly effect the speaker performance?

I doubt it. Even if they were touching.
But you are in a position to test it experimentally, out on the bench. BEFORE doing the install.
I strongly recommend doing that.

Ditto
I'd expect you would place them in some sort of enclosure that would keep them apart, and enhance their sound.

I was able to make the enclosure long enough that the magnets would not have an effect on each other. I received the enclosure yesterday.

Not yet. I moved on to a different project.
