This is just too cool not to share, here we have one of my all-time favourite Jaw Tooth videos of a pretty darn cool subject. These vans were built in 1954, modified and upgraded countless times and are still in use today as CCET 271 and HZRX 272. Other than tourist operations, I think it's quite rare to have a present-day revenue operation using such an old car.

That really does have all the bells and whistles!
The locomotive is unusual too: A former Alaska Railroad GP49. Two of them are now running in Chile on metre-gauge.

Here's a video I saw just a few days ago:
BN 12607 was rebuilt 1990-05-14 from BN 10795 which had been built in August 1973, making it just over 50 years old now. Note the parabolic antenna on the roof.

1. what a beautiful old caboose, crazy to see such a relic still in use in 2020
2. the video composition is excellent -- I love how the photographer put in the effort to get up above the train for excellent modeller quality roof shots. The train stopped right underneath him initially and he took excellent views of everything.
3. that looks like a satellite TV dish on the roof
Thanks for sharing!
