Member # 190 of this Forum is "Moondog". Is he the owner of Moon Dog Rails Cars ? I like his freight cars and his white dog Moon.

Raffaele, I sure hate to show my ignorance, but I've not heard of Moon dog Rail Cars.
If it is "Him", and he's that good, I sure hope he shares his story and his work with the rest of us!!

Maybe he'll post something about himself in the next day or two.

Mike, if you search on Google for "moondograilcars.com", you'll find his work and get to know his history. I think that some of the freight car loads listed on his site come from Europe. Ciao.

Is this guy still in business? I have emailed him several times about the ETA of some of his custom run hoppers and have not received any answer. I have checked the IM custom model page and find no info on the cars. If anyone know him tell him to update his page and answer his emails

Hi from Moondog!
I am member #190 and the owner of Moon Dog Rail Cars. I am very much alive and in business.
As you can read on my website I painted for Overland Models for 23 years.
I have done 2 special run cars with I/M. The other's I do here in corn country.
All cars are from manufacturers here in the U.S.
The loads are from DUHA of the Czech Republic. I am currently gearing up to make them here in the U.S.
The AK weathering products are from Spain and are made for the military modelers but I am using them and highly recommend them for us railroaders.
