I bought several agricultural related items at the Berea, OH, train show back in October. They are being prepped for installation on our club layout now. I think they look good and will be a good fit for our layout. I am combining with Farm stuff from Southern Tier models as well to create believable large grain elevator complexes.
The gentleman I spoke with from Yelton said he brought 10 kits for the Berea NYC tower and they were all gone within 15 minutes of the show opening!
He also mentioned that you can get their products through Spring Creek Model Trains. Apparently saves shipping fees all around as Spring Creek orders in bulk.
I highly recommend (no paid endorsement and I play a model railroader on TV!)

Christmas Eve, about 7:54 p.m., EST, back from a family celebration
Do Yelton's HO figures come unpainted or painted? I gave the firm's interesting website a good look last night or this morning, but I didn't see that information on it.

I didn't see any mention of Yelton on the Spring Creek Model Trains site. I'm interested in the NYC baggage car end and the derail looks good too.

I bought one of Yelton's New York Central BE (Berea) towers through Spring Creek last month. I was too late to get one of the eleven they brought to the Berea Show. Spring Creek sent the model and it arrived with no apparent outside damage however the contents of the inner box had been roughed up pretty badly with the railings broken and some of the building details chipped off. 3D resin is apparently pretty delicate. I contacted the folks at Yelton in Hamilton, Ontario with photos of the damaged parts and within two weeks I had replacement parts, plus a few extra goodies, sent to my home address. The kit looks good and I'm looking forward to getting started with it: NYC_BE tower 3D by Edmund, on Flickr NYC_BE tower 3Da by Edmund, on Flickr At the Berea, Ohio show they were planning to stop by Collinwood Yard to measure Quaker (QD) tower for a future kit. I'll be in line for one of those. I wish them success. Just hope they get more ambitious about careful packaging of the parts. Regards, Ed

yeltonmodels, thanks for the clarification about your models coming unpainted. I'll certainly mention your very interesting line or products in the submission for "Modeling Matters" I'll be sending to the Bridge Line Historical Society Bulletin, an all-volunteer monthly publication of a group of fans of the Delaware & Hudson, with some Canadian members, that is due to our editor and publisher by noon on January 12, for possible use in our March 2024 issue that will be mailed to our members in February. Material for our February issue had to be submitted by December 22. The first issue that will have news announced at the Amherst Railway Society's Big Railroad Train Show at the Big E in West Springfield, Mass. January 27-28 will be our April issue. That schedule is determined by the printer, who is the only one who gets paid.

Hi Everyone, from Ed's post we will be bringing out Quaker Tower (QD) in 2024. When in 2024 I could not tell you right now. We have a brand new structure coming out in January at the Amherst Show in Springfield. Yelton Models has had a very busy 2023 and have not stopped since coming home from Amherst back in January. We have taken then last week off to spend with family and finish up getting orders out for 2023, We plan to have our whole line of products at the Amherst Show. We will be with the people from Spring Creek Model Trains as they are our US distributor. If you have any questions about anything please let Steven know at Yelton Models, or if your at the Amherst show please stop by and say Hi.
