While we are sad we could not be down at the Cocoa Beach RPM - we were hard at work with our first new detail parts of 2024!
Does your conductor’s lunch smell funny? Well, open up the cab vent! Introducing our 100% scale, round cab vents. These were common on numerous styles of locomotive from the 1950’s and on. These are sold in 8 packs, including 4 “closed” and 4 “open” ones. Installation is easy, as they have a 1mm mounting stem.

Two new 1st generation EMD exhaust stacks. This makes over 15 different EMD exhausts available from GR&M, with more on the way!
Union Pacific/Northern Pacific “Tall” stacks. These 24” tall stacks were used on UP’s GP/SD7’s and NP GP9’s that were assigned to the Camas Prairie, which held large spark arrestors (not included) during summer months.

Burlington Northern “Medium” stacks. This is an in-between height stack used on certain Burlington Northern GP9 rebuilds. Unfortunately, I do not have any specifics on every engine these were used on.

6 new MU stands. This puts us at over 20 different MU stand varieties, with again, more on the way.
- Southern Railway late 2nd generation MU stand with battery jumper plug. This was the common style used on the later locomotives including SD45’s, SD40-2’s, GP38-2’s, etc. Each pack included 4 stands.

Southern switchers used a variation of this stand with the step light mounted to the top of it. If there is enough interest, I will offer this version as well.
- Southern Railway early 2nd generation MU stand with battery jumper plug. This style was used on the late GP30’s, GP35’s, SD35s. Each pack included 4 stands.

- Southern Railway 1st order GP30 MU stand. The 1st batch of GP30’s had this unique stand which had the battery jumper plug on the right side along with the dynamic brake plug. The left side held a mirror image but without the jumper plug. An alternative stand is included with the left side MU plug blanked off, which seemed to be a common occurrence. Each pack included 2 of each of the stands listed.

- EMD “35” line low MU stands. This is yet another part we have discovered in research that has never been offered before accurately with the properly rounded inner corner. This is the low/single stand common on GP30’s, GP/SD35’s and early GP/SD40’s. Each pack includes two left and two rights.

- EMD “35 line” MU stand with dynamic brake plug. This is the same as above, but with the dynamic brake field loop plug. Each pack includes two left and two rights.
