It's moot now since I've parted ways and have plenty of flats that did haul lumber.

Hope they do will with the foobies...
But where's another announcement of SD45s like they said they were going to?

The response I got regarding SD45's was: "Watch for an announcement early next year for delivery in 2024." I assume early next year would likely be first couple of months of 2024, or 1st quarter. Delivery was listed as 2024 too, so guessing late 2024. I believe D&RGW will be among the roads offered. I asked about SP because I've always wanted standard "peas in a pod" L-shaped window SP. Those are not part of the next batch I've been told.

I think they have stated this allows them to do engines "close enough" for stuff they aren't going to tool. Like all the shortlines with sand fillers relocated to the nose in funky spots, SXT has stated the problem with those details as it relates to WSOR engines and such. So, I'm hopeful that there is more along those lines and less of GN ES44's.

Just read ST's definition. Non-prototypical paint schemes on Rivet Counter-quality cars. High end foobies? Why? Because those who don't care if the model is accurate for livery or particular railroad or type of locomotive. . . tend to be rivet counters as well? Huh?

Doesn't matter what they are painted for. If it keeps the company going, then run with it.
