Anyone know where to get stirrup steps like the ones that came on the Atlas NSC 5277 PD box cars? Pictured below. Preferably in black. The ones that came with were very brittle.

Those are side-mount stirrups with rivets to be mounted to the side sill. The Atlas car has bottom-mount stirrups that attach underneath the side sill. A-Line doesn't make the trapezoid-shaped stirrup like these cars have, but you may be able to modify the Type B stirrup into one. I would also check out Yarmouth Models to see what they carry. They have some 2D etched ones in addition to bent-wire stirrups. Your third option would be to buy some brass strip and bend your own. Since this is effectively a custom application, I would be tempted to go this route.

Thanks. These Yarmouth ones look maybe close enough, but I will keep looking.
