My biggest complaint with Atlas, really only complaint the last 10 years, is the sound on the U28C's was horrible. The fact they couldn't be bothered to fill the unused sunshade mounting holes in the side of the cab of the PRR versions was a deal breaker for me.

I have some Reading and D&H coming, I expected those will sell fairly well. Reading stuff seems to sell out fairly quickly.

Atlas is one of my favorite manufacturers, slow deliveries or not. Their locomotives are perfect for detailing and it was nice when they used to stock tons of parts, even if that will no longer be a thing. I tend to cut them some slack since I felt their deliveries were fairly consistent until 2020, which affected the entire industry in dramatic fashion. They are no where near as bad as Intermountain or Trainworx.
One issue I am concerned with is the vehicle lines. It took 12 years and a lot of requests to get the Fairmonts back into production. The F-100 models were wildly popular - yet we haven’t had a run of plain versions since 2016. 2017 for the F-150. Now they have the River Point Station tooling. Will they revive the parts line? To date, the RPS hi-rail kit was one of the best out there. The work truck accessories and wheels are also excellent. Time will tell if they run the full line or not, or chose to follow the strict preorder and sporadic delivery method of their other vehicles.

I don't know why a Kadee wouldn't fit anywhere an Accumate does. But as noted in another thread Atlas seems to be slowly moving away from the Accumates, several recent arrivals have a metal Kadee clone installed. Atlas announced a run of ex-River Point Ford F350s in June of 2023, I pre-ordered a batch of them expecting they'll sell. The run includes plain white, safety yellow, safety orange, and black plus two each police and fire schemes, with the plain models available with or without bed cap. shop.atlasrr.com/c-1698-h221.aspx

Yeah even if someone blows them out at $15 a shot that's $225 for 15. You could mix them with the Granada if you can find some Fresh Cherries but they're tough to come by. The Pinto and Bobcat are a tad easier to find. On a rack it would be hard to spot the model year differences.

Although I suppose I could mix them with the Herpa/Busch/Con-Cor fox mustang (same platform). Didn’t they only do wagons this go around?

I managed to pick up a bunch of 78 Chevy Impalas by Mini Metals for low cost but I imagine that would make for a very heavy Tri-level.

There's a run of sedans coming and a separate run of wagons.
