I have seen a few pictures of the new Walthers E8/9's, so I know that they have been shipped. I had pre-ordered the UP E9 Heritage A/B,A units with sound, but my order comes up blank. I did a little more digging and checked Walthers web site and they are gone. All the other roadnames are there. They do list one UP E9 Heritage unit in DC only. Anybody got any ideas? Wrong sound file, perhaps?

if they've disappeared off the Walthers website, they're sold out.
How long ago did you pre-order them? Walthers does this stupid thing where they automatically cancel any un shipped order after 6 months. Which becomes rather inconvenient when you pre order something and then it takes longer than that to actually arrive. Ask me how I know.

There were a few problems with the run including a pronounced ridge on the sides where the nose meets the carbody and really thick application of paint. Maybe they sent them back to the factory for changes? Nah, its Walthers probably not.

I see them on the website. I can search for them and they show up. They may be grouped in with the name train passenger equipment, which is why they don't show up when you click on the E unit banner on the homepage. Maybe someone put them in the wrong category.
