BLI announced PRR PB70 combines, PRR Z74 business cars, and a 5 pack of P70s, a PB70, and a business car. No P70FAR or FBR yet? Unfortunately not yet, but we're getting a B6sb too. I'll hold my breath for a G5.

If BLI did a G5, they might as well do every LIRR number, they will all sell out.

I saw the Bachmann video on Youtube yesterday. Overall, it feels a bit lackluster. Last year's was much better. 2023 had Horizon cars, new steam locomotives, and the new Acela. 2024 seems to be mostly freight cars. It's sad when multiple road numbers are an actual feature to advertise, and not an expected part of a freight car run. Bachmann did show painted samples of the Avelia Liberty high speed train at Amherst. That was from the 2023 catalog, and it looks to be nearing completion. I see pictures showing up on social media; it looks a lot nicer than the first Acela. Agreed. I was hoping they would do the Brightline train this year. At least they finally listened to feedback on multiple road numbers. For years they had been mentioning that senior leadership was against the idea.

Mr. Trainiac, I agree with you about the Bachmann video overall and the matter of multiple road numbers; I agree with jonklein611 as well on the latter point. For some of us with small layouts, buying a dozen or more freight cars lettered for the same railroad or shipper with multiple road numbers, e.g. for unit trains, isn't practical; but in the past I've bought two or three cars with multiple numbers.
The most recent Bachmann product that really excited me was the firm's 50' New York Central express reefer, which I reserved and bought as soon as I could. As usual, the firm decorated it in other paint schemes that don't match the models' characteristics nearly as well, three in the first run and four new ones in the latest catalog. I can understand the commercial reasons for that; but I've preferred to get models that match full-sized cars better.
I've ridden the Acela a few times and may get to ride the Avelia trains once they're running, but for the most part I don't plan to acquire models of such recent equipment.

Unfortunately not yet, but we're getting a B6sb too. I'll hold my breath for a G5. To me the FAR and FBR portholes were the most defining characteristics of a P70. I'm still bummed Walthers canceled its "all things P70" project because BLI hasn't really done anything with the project in years. My other choice is to scrounge old Alco/Eastern kits for my Valpo Dummy.

As soon as I (eventually) finish the three ECW PRR kits I've been hoarding for use in "Boston commuter service" along with my Rapido New Haven/PC coaches, some manufacturer will send them to market...

Apparently, while at the show, Bowser confirmed that the CN GMD SD40-2W project is moving forward. 3D Central posted pictures of their 3D-printed version of the Bowser SD40-2W shell that may have been displayed at the show.

That was confirmed months ago at OVR's big open house in the summer. What's not clear is what Bowser expects the ETA on them to be. I don't think they've said anything on that yet.

Any Arrowhead scuttlebutt at The Show? Any sign of the Conrail H39s?

Their website currently says delivery will be late 2024. Not sure if that's still the case but it'll obviously be awhile.

The best Bachmann announcement was the 20th Century Limited cars. Those should match the Streamlined Hudson that will come out in 2024, but was already announced last year.

I count 18 reporting marks on C-415's. And then there's the paint jobs.
Oh, my.
I confess I MIGHT even get a Rock Island.

I don't need a C415 but I will buy one just because.
I would suggest they offer a couple of just plain unlettered units, say yellow, red and green, or even Rock blue.
