Does anyone have any ideas for mu hoses on locomotives? The hoses on my athearn genesis locomotives are too brittle. I was using the atlas mu hoses but atlas doesn't have anymore. I don't like the detais west or the cal scale scale ones either. I really like the idea of rubber hoses like the hi tech details but they have no bracket above the hoses, so what good are they?

Check with T-J Model Trains on eBay. They have both plastic and brass hoses (no rubber) with brackets. A quick check showed Atlas has MU hoses in stock for GE 8-40 series locomotives.

You might check out Cal-Scale on Bowser. They have a several 3 to 5 hose clusters with brackets, but the hoses are either brass or plastic.
I can't think of any rubber MU hoses with attached brackets. If you insist on rubber hoses you may have to find/fabricate some brackets to mate to the Hi-Tech hoses.

You can always just make the bracket after you install them. The real one is just a piece of angle iron.

Go to Bowsers website and once there, go to the HO Cal SCale Diesel Loco Parts page and you'll see the selection of MU Hose packs. Here's a screen shot:
