I am looking for one of the Overland brass N8A cabooses, these were the former NH cabooses that had the cupola played over and a bay window added. PM me if you have one or know where I might be able to find one.

If you wanted to try bashing one, Atlas just did a run of those and they're not terribly expensive. Seems like the hardest part would be finding a bay window that's correct, unless you can rob one out of an old red box Walthers bay window kit.
And that's probably how to guarantee you find a brass one - it will turn up just as you're finishing the kitbashed one.
