That trilevel rack is great! Scratchbuilt? F85 flat?

Got a few cars finished up this weekend Intermountain mechanical reefer, for some reason intermountain painted these orange instead of yellow. I tried to make it look more yellow. Kinda wish they’d run these in yellow like they did the other mechanical reefer. Atlas box, removed the cushioned pockets and used a Kadee 262 box. Also got an SDP40F. I know prototypical operations are something some people strive for, but I think this loco likes to take it too far on the club layout.

After fighting a migraine all day, I made a start on one of the 3D Central BAR boxcar kits. A little bit of sanding to knock down minor print lines on the sides, but nothing too hateful. Planning to paint this one in the original brown scheme once decals come out.

Nice work on those open racks!! I have mostly finished this SD39 that has been an off and on project for the past year. Athearn RTR model with some custom bent air lines added, as well as some fuel tank details and hoses. Looking to add treadplate next, does anyone know if there is a treadplate kit that will work for the SD39? If needed I can cut my own from sheet but would like to save the time if one has been made already. I used some Cannon & Co GP 40-2 sets I had laying around for my SD39, they worked ok, it cuts well with titanium scissors.

Everyone must be out enjoying the weather as Sunday is nearly over. I have continued working on my load of 73 GM B bodies. The autos still need glass and final detailing, and the autorack need to be weathered, but I couldn't resist mocking up the load. Wow! That is fantastic work, John!

I keep getting lines in my prints, but I'm not entirely sure how to get rid of them?

I usually wet sand with 800 grit sandpaper, coarse enough to take care of things but fine enough to disappear under primer.

Did they do NYC? The tri-levels are very hard to find. I don't know what all road names they have done on them.

I have that tri-level. I bought it and didn't look at it until a couple years later and discovered it was badly deformed. Athearn told mey sorry, it's been to long. It's only good for parts.

Finished the 3d work on the top shell of my RP-E4D slug. I had a slot to have it printed at work last night, but I'm remote working at the moment so I'll get it later that week. Currently I'm drawing the Walkways and the frame.

Thank you. All dimensions and proportions were taken from photographs, with the length of a P2k GP9‘s upper body as base dimension. I really hope the shell will work out in comparison with those photos, as you cannot get matching perspectives in FreeCAD. There are some scratchbuilt models around, but they all use a GP9 dynamic break section which I always found to be too short.

SDP40F is probably fine there as it passes a Model Power boxcar made with the old Marx tooling (Domino Sugar), big snap lugs and all.
