Adding class light functions to an ESU v5 decoder

Well, I’m back to try to set up class lighting on my Atlas PRR u28c. I found a class light logic document on the ESU website but it is not visually clear how to proceed. Does anyone have anything that I could follow? Thank you in advance for assistance
