I'm not sure if this is a Rapido or ESU LokSound problem. I'm programming two Rapido Union Pacific E8's and can't get the number board lights to illuminate on either one. The Rapido manual says F19 controls the number boards and the Lok Programmer shows Aux 1 assigned to F19, but no go.
I assigned all the other Aux numbers to F19 but still no response.
Is this a known problem with these units or have I found something new?
Another problem. I am trying to dim the Cab Light and the Track Inspection Lights/Ground Lights using the function output brightness control. Reducing the brightness control seems to have no effect, even when reduced almost to zero.
The Loksound 5 manual shows the way to do this by manually changing CV's but I would think that the Lok Programmer should handle it.

Take the shell off and check if the light is being blocked by the numberboard paint.

Thanks Tom, That is the problem. The LED's are working but the light can't get through the thick black paint. Rapido must have some genius designers working for them.
