I received an email from Lombard Hobbies today about an overstock sale of some Athearn models. They have an Athearn Genesis 2.0 SCL EMD SD45-2 w/DCC Tsunami 2 for $154.99. Thay's a pretty good deal, I think.  I picked up one and some Tangent hoppers. |

$154 is an excellent bargain! It was so cool to see the prototypes in action, hauling pig / intermodal trains at 65+ mph on the A-Line.
In multi-unit lashups you could hear those turbochargers whistling 1/2 mile away!
