Those UP ex-LNE cars are really neat. Never thought I'd see that from a factory car.

How's the detail on the covered hoppers? Would they look awful next to some genesis covered hoppers?

I mix mine in my cement/zinc fleet with kadee and atlas 70T cars and they fit fine, especially once you do some basic weathering. I'd probably go bankrupt if tangent ever did these cars.
Lombard and others will have them for around 20 bucks, with decent metal wheels and an acceptable KD clone kinda hard to go wrong.

What I really need Bowser to make is a new run of Roadrailers. They did Triple Crown trailers recently, but I would kill for some Clipper or CN roadrailers to pad out my BNSF Ice Cold Express. There are so many obscure roadrailer brands out there from the 80's and 90's. They have done lots of interesting kits, but it's been a bit bland since the tooling went RTR. There are lots of trailers on their 'product archive' page that only have one kit road number. Let's bring back some of the unique ones like Wabash lease trailers or TFM Mexican trailers.
Even some Amtrak roadrailers would be nice. Anyone modeling the 90's or early 2000's needs some express boxcars or roadrailers for the end of the train.

I've always liked the Bowser cars, formally Stewart, the ACF covered cars too, with the open or closed sides, just something a bit different than a PS-2.

They did a run of Roadrailers last year, because I finally sold the last one I think in February. No CN, but ex-CN and ex-Swift ghost Triple Crown trailers.
I have some of the covered hoppers from the last couple runs, no one seems too excited by them. I will still probably pick up Alcoa, D&H, Lehigh and Linde, and at least B&O, D&H, LV and WM on the open hoppers. I did well with the last batch of WM speed letter cars.
