About 10 years ago someone had created a set of decals for Farmall Super M tractors. I forget who created them. I attempted to search using keywords and nothing came up except for restoration decals for the real thing.
The target model is the Walthers Scenemaster.
Any bells ringing?

I have been looking for two years with no success. Hopefully a decal designer can help out....
Sunshine Models had decals with their IH tractor load kit, but the decals are unobtainable.

I'm not 100% positive, but this Walther's item appears to match a 1954 Farmall Super M. However, the model has issues, but there isn't much of anything else better at this time. It should be easy to gather measurements of the lettering needed. What I see needed for the lettering is: Side Hood Cover - IH McCormick FARMALL (white-black-red) Side Hood Cover - Super M Circle (white-black-red) Engine Side - Warning label (yellow-black); Transmission label (silver-black) Front Hood - IH logo (silver-red-black) Round Gauges (silver-black-white) There are yellow labels for the operator - gear shift, electrical - but might not be needed.

These are stickers designed for the real thing. Not HO scale.

If anyone has access to a real Farmall Super M, can you provide some dimensions?
I scaled the restoration decals based upon the circle shape (black outline) as being 3 inches. That makes the FARMALL lettering to be 13.75 inches wide and letters 1 11/16 in height. How close is that and what are the exact dimensions?
More searching reveals that Oddball's Decals offered this back in the late 1990's or early 2000's. Which are not available.

BTW, if anyone has access or owns one of these Farmalls, I would like to gather field measurements to recreate a 3D model and making something more accurate then the Walthers models and also other models like the wide front wheels, M AT version.

A good place to find pictures of this stuff for model building is online auction service Purplewave www.purplewave.com/ You can search the past auction results and find TONS of pictures of all sorts of equipment. It’s really good for ag, construction, trucks, etc……

If you didn’t have any luck, I suggest going to a tractor show this fall. Any reasonable sized show is likely to have a Super M.

I went to the Camp Creek Threshers show at Waverly NE today, and low and behold they were featuring Farmall tractors. Did not see a super M, but one very nice straight M. The decal on the side of the tractor with the IH symbol, Farmall, with the McCormick name above the Farmall, measures from the edge of the decal film, to the edge of the decal film, is 19-34" long, and 3-3/4" high. The M in farmall, 2-1/8" x 2-1/8". The "M" decal, 4-3/4" in diameter. The IH on the front of the tractor measures 2-1/2" wide X 2-3/4" high.

Thanks for taking measurements of the lettering. I will take a decal scan and scale to those dimensions and then trace it.
