Weekly Photo Fun Mother's Day Edition... This week I finished a JMRI programming area for my layout. Computer down the left side and Digitrax components across the right with a programming track in front. Plywood wall on the right allows mounting of electrical components. Computer will run Decoder Pro for programming decoders and later for controlling signals.

Well, I finally completed the cars I have been working on all week. This is an Front Range 50' Boxcar which is used to replicate an Evans 50' Boxcar, substituted a Detail Associates 10' Superior Door and extended the door tracks to match. Painted with Floquil B&M Blue and Black Paint and lettered with Herald King Decals. This is an Athearn 50' PC&F RBL w/14' Door, used A-Line Sill Steps in place of the plastic steps, painted with Floquil Tuscan Red Paint and lettered with Herald King Decals. This is a MDC - FMC 5277CF Boxcar, painted with Floquil B&M Blue and Black paint, lettered with Microscale Decals. This car was used in paper service. Thanks for looking! Rick J

I'm working on an aerial tramway and terminal. The tower is up and the track cables have been strung. The tower and bucket kits are new from Anvil Mountain Models: www.anvilmountainmodels.com/Iowa-tiger-transfer.htmlWhile they are based on those serving the Iowa-Tiger Mine, they're quite typical of tramways found across Colorado and many other places in the West. This is from a layout I built in the early eighties. he layout was from an Atlas Plan book and was called the Plywood Summit Lines. I made a few alterations, and added an extension from a book called The Jerome & Southwestern, and the section was called the Back Alley & Wharf. This bridge was modeled after one that was close tho where I lived. Sadly all of this is a memory now. Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures but they were taken with a cheap camera, and a photographer that barely knew which way to point the thing.

To Say I'm a switcher afficianado would be an understatement. This is 9 of the 10 MP-15DC's I currently own. I can't find the pic of my BLI switchers.
