I may need to rent a minivan to move some used sections/modules for an HO scale layout. Would anyone have a rough idea of the width and height of a minivan cargo area with seats folded down? Probably would be a Chrysler Pacific or similar. Hope this isn't too far off topic. Thanks!

Can't give you specifics on dimensions. I'm sure you can get them from the Chrysler website. But if you are looking at Chrysler/Dodge options, look for one with "Stow & Go" rear seating. This would be the captain's chair type, not the bench seats. The seats fold down flat into the floor so there are no obstructions through the entire rear of the van. You can then fit an awful lot of stuff in there.
Or look to rent a Sprinter or Transit. They have plenty of volume, but won't be as fully appointed as a Pacifica.

Do an image search for "floor dimensions of xxxxxxxx". You'll likely get a nice dimensioned drawing.
I have a small van (not "mini", I think), and it will hold a 4x8 sheet of plywood on the floor. Larger vans add a couple of feet of length.
A few miles from me, there's a truck rental place. They rent vans, among other things.
Coincidentally, I'll be loading up ole faithful tomorrow, for travel to a Free-mo get together.

Way back when I was doing train shows, I did some research and found a Dodge Grand Caravan and a Honda Odyssey would both hold a 4x8 sheet of plywood laying down.
