Has anyone ever removed the lettering/markings/data printed on the newer runs of ho scale bowser ballast hoppers? Is it difficult or easy to do with solvaset and napkin method?

I tried removing the lettering from a Bowser 100-ton hopper and it wasn't all that easy. Ended up immersing it in 99% alcohol and even then some paint and lettering remained. Not sure how old the car is.

I re-lettered a BN ballast car a couple of years ago using the MicroSol and tissue method. I don't remember the lettering being any harder to remove than any other car I've done.
