In this photo, it looks faded. But the green of the BN logo looks darker. Also, the two on-line pictures I looked at did seem to support the lighter color. And, I think, with a bit more yellow. At least for now, I'd go with that green being slightly different than regular BN green. I wonder why. Ed

It seems lighter because it is paired with a broad white stripe. The regular units have the green paired with black, which makes it seem darker.

Like Ed, I see the possibility of just a little bit more yellow in the green in Colin's first link, BUT so many variables in the photo presentation mechanism. In a couple of Colin's links they look to be nearly the same as Southern Rwy green. Be interesting to see one hitched to a "normal" unit just out of the paint shop.
Not enough difference for me to throw stones as some are so prone to do in modeling.
I can't get the photo to pull up from the initial post, just those in Colin's additional info. Sunday am I was able to get the initially posted image to view and the lighting on that is quite off, imho, and a very poor image to use as an example of how they look.

I think the paint looks identical in the last of the 3 links I posted. Taken March 1993. The units were delivered in January 1992.

I'd look at the Tangent Thrall boxcar announcement thread from this week. The BN SD60MAC color looks similar to the BN boxcar color. I think we are used to Cascade Green looking a little sooty, but it's pretty vibrant when fresh.
For an HO SD60MAC, it's probably safe to use standard BN Cascade Green, especially if you want to weather it. If you want a 'paint booth' look, I may consider adding some brighter lime green paint in the mix. When I painted my Trough Train, I used regular BN green from Tru-Color and it came out too dark, but the Trough Train is definitely not standard Cascade Green when compared with BN power pulling it. For future models, I am considering mixing in some Illinois Terminal green to brighten it up. You could try something similar with the 60MAC if you want to differentiate the color a bit.

The SD60MAC is around 10 points less blue. From the BN list: from message #13676: (William Barber): "...I was an EMD employee for 36 years in Sales and Service Dept.; much of that time involved with the BN." from message #7131: "I don't recall what the correct color identification was, but it intentionally wasn't BN Cascade Green. The color was a lighter green. " Ed
