Bill Serratelli at Atlas says "The web site is not an inventory system. It lists parts and shows pictures but that does not mean they are in stock." So I guess it's wise to inquire before ordering. I wonder if this implies that parts are in stock that don't show on the website.

My experience is that it depends. The website is clearly not simply an archive of models, parts, and photos, because whole swaths of their product line are missing from it. And generally I've found that if something is showing on the website, then it is available. Conversely, they list some parts on the website that are indicated as available for backorder, which doesn't fit with my first premise. So who knows? Beyond that, I know from past conversations with Bill that often times they do have items that do not appear on the website, but they have been pulled from the listings because only small numbers remain, or sometimes they need them for warranty repairs. Because of that, I always call and ask about things, and I have gotten the parts I needed several times when they didn't appear to be available. So I always recommend calling.

I had been dealing with Steve at Atlas. Has he left?

I have no idea. Every time I've ever called the Atlas parts department, it's been Bill that gotten back to me.
