Given an 1oz bottle of blue paint and a GP40, how much of the bottle would typically be used to paint it all blue, for example a Conrail engine? Thanks.

A one-ounce bottle is fairly large for model paint. Mission or Tamiya size. Assuming a gray primer, I would expect to get several locomotives out of that bottle. Blue usually covers well.
