Can anyone recommend a good set of flush cut side cutters tough enough to cut off Kadee trip pins?

Xuron track cutters, though trip pins will eventually spoil the blade for rail use.

Xuron track cutters, though trip pins will eventually spoil the blade for rail use. Their hard wire cutters last a bit longer.

I use common diagonal cutters. I dress the cut stub with a stone in my Dremel. I have also used a cutoff disk, but I don't feel comfortable holding a coupler for that cut. No problem holding for grinding.
I have all the Zuron cutters mentioned so far in this thread. The trip pins will notch the flush cutters, which are intended for copper wire. The hard wire cutter is happy to do the job, followed by grinding. I find that with the hard wire cutter, the pin flies further than with the diagonal cutters that I use.

Thanks to Ed Sutorik for the recommendation for the Fast Cap Flush Cutter. They definitely are an overmatch vs. the Kadee trip pins.
The Fast Cap Flush Cutter makes short work of cutting the Kadee trip pins with a very clean cut.
No rework needed, unlike my old not-quite-flush cutting diagonal cutters which always left a little nub of the trip pin that I always had to file down afterwards.
Cheers, Harry

I've been using a retired set of Xurons for years.
