The batch of things that went out in June came today -
C40-8s, 40' boxcars, 50' PD boxcars, 5701 covered hoppers and 25,500 gal tank cars. Been so long I forgot I had pre-ordered some of the 50 foot boxcars.

The MEC 40' boxcars look nice, but the yellow might be a little light. Probably better than it looks, if the B&M Portec hoppers are any indication. They sure don't offer many roadnames.

I kinda just treat new Atlas releases as a pleasant surprise, i'll pick up a handful of 40' and 50' cars to vanish into the fleet.

Actually they're more or less on time, usually it's 60 days from the container shipping date to the date they hit distributors, June 21 to August 23 is pretty close. Hurts my wallet because the MEC, CN, PRR cars are all things I need. Looks like I preordered a UP and PRR 50' boxcar for me, too. I draw a total blank on what I was thinking then.

Have you checked the lights on the Dash 8's? The MP36's had blue LED's.

Not golden white. Yellow. I just bought a GP38-2 (FURX) from the most recent run and put it on the track yesterday and was surprised to see the ditch lights were a different color from the headlight. My C420s all have decent looking lights. I think an early run U23B has a very yellowish one.
