Must be narrow gauge day for me! The PBL Sn3 D&RGW long reefer is complete. After decaling and dullcoating, I applied a little light weathering.
This is an HOn3 LaBelle wood kit that I purchased from Caboose Hobbies during a trip to Colorado. It has Blackstone trucks, miscellaneous bits of styrene and wood, Kadee's, and A Line stirrups.

I'm recovering from surgery to fix a broken right arm, and have been bored out of my mind recovering, so I decided to try my hand at some mostly one arm modeling. This is destined to be a Rock Island Bi-level for the load of 73 Chevy Vans I posted here last winter. The low level PLH10 was scratch built by Mike Budde for Stack Pack containers. I removed any Stack Packs specific details, and modified it for rack installation. The rack itself was removed from an Athearn model, and had some uprights rearranged to make the sway bracing symmetrical. This model is on hold until I have the dexterity to use a pin vice again.

I'll jump on the narrow gauge Sunday posts! I expect we will see a whole lot of narrow gauge modeling from the SP and D&RGW folks. Right? This is a foobie and a quicky. Its from a MDC old-time tank car kit. Trucks are likely Central Valley. Air hoses are Kadee, heat shriveled. Couplers are Kadee. Wood parts were cut from table saw slash and ink stained. Brake rigging (simplified) was based on D&RGW Gramps tankers.

One of our ancient push carts decided it wanted to be narrow gauge this weekend, along with turning the wheel into a fun new door stop.

Must be NG time for everyone! I'm starting to work on all my Blackstone EBT hoppers. First was installing Inventive Models Sharon couplers, and next interior weathering. I did one so far.

Nice modeling everyone. I like seeing the narrow-gauge stuff, as we do not see it very often.
