This part was loose in my shopping bag from a recent show yet it does not seem to fit anything I bought. It would be nice to know for sure though, so does anyone recognize this part? What is it from? Thanks in advance.

Funny, looks like a car lightbulb cover clip.

Funny, looks like a car lightbulb cover clip. I was thinking along those same lines too. It reminds me of the spring clips some manufacturers use to retain brake pads in the caliper. |

Hi all, I appreciate the suggestions thus far. I checked the car and there are no interior lights with a missing clip like that. Good suggestion!
This almost looks like some sort of tension clip used on something like an early Walthers autorack cushion coupler pocket.
