The B&M FTB's should have three stripes, not the panel and roadname. Hope they also do the delivery scheme with "bunting" around the road name.
Rapido's website says the R7 reefers and X23 boxcars are "in transit." Does that mean on the water, being moved to their warehouse, or something else?

From past experience, it can mean either on the water or on the way to their warehouse.

A mix of potential interest and concern with the WC GP40's. While I'd rather have a Scaletrains offering, if they do a solid job I'd probably buy one or two. The logo on their preliminary release hopefully didn't make it to production.

I would like to see a good side-by-side comparison of the Rapido and ST GP40s. I see things that are good and not so good on both. The ST model certainly has crisper tooling, but it also has seam lines in some areas and of course the fans are not Cannon & Co supplied. The Rapido model has more PE parts and their metal handrails do look nice and straight, but some of the seperately applied plastic parts look a bit chunky. The MU cable receptical holders (I guess that's what they're called) on the end handrail stancions are a nice touch!
I’m guessing no undecorated versions available from either manufacturer?

Reading, PA Sometimes Rapido runs undecs. I have a couple of undec FA-2's, 44-tonners, and an RS-18. I think if a distributor thinks there's a market for them, they can order a minimum of X undecs and Rapido will provide them.
I ordered my undec 44T's to paint for Pinsly's Claremont & Concord, but will probably sell at least the Phase IV since CLCO 31 is coming in the next run.

Reading, PA I am fairly certain undec was available but you have to pre-order to get them. When they come in to my distributor if he has any extra quantity not committed to a customer they are gone almost immediately.

These are very nice as well. The ScaleTrains versions are superb too. So, if we got a Class One version...wow. We've been wanting different versions of GP40's for years...I am mulling a change to the Craig Branch and DRGW...maybe a connection at Pueblo with the MP?

If you do the Craig Branch, the Walthers New River Mine is based on the Edna Mine so you would have that covered!

And with Athearn Genesis SD50s...ScaleTrains GP30s-40s-SD40T-2s and SD45s...I'd have the motive power...I could also include Pueblo and MoPac...handing off coal trains to and from...Cabooses coming from Athearn Genesis and now Rapido...Tangent can't be far off with their ICC EV Rio Grande cars...too. Or Athearn could also just do the other popular version. There are TON of new western coal hoppers on the horizon...so get ready.

Athearn is doing both the 1965/66 D&RGW and 1975 EV D&RGW cabooses but I didn't see the orange 1970's repaints of the 65/66 EV cabooses. I wouldn't complain if Tangent did them and we'd see them sooner as well!

FWIW the Budd Gallery cars showed up Friday. My distributor messed up somehow and I ended up with two sets each of the BN cars, so I put the extras on eBay and they both sold in about an hour. The other set is for a local guy. There's still a few left but not very many.
