Donnell, You deserve a big pat on the back for your "Forum Rules". My only concern for the forum right now is......where is everybody? ? I come here and only hear crickets......The last few days have been deader than a door nail around these here parts....

It is spring in many areas and things must be done outside. I have not had much time to work on my models. Larry

Larry It is slow lately mostly due to some heavy-handed forum moderation in the HO scale forum.

Meow, I've seen instances of people concerned that more needed to be done to keep the forums free of bickering and personal attacks rather than too much being done (re: heavy handed moderation). However, if you have suggestions on how to improve, pm Donnell and me.
I've learned over the many years you can't please everyone, but hopefully the forums will be better for Donnells efforts!
I follow several forums and IMO, its been kinda slow everywhere.

It's spring. Even the old Atlas forum slowed down this time of year. I agree some rules needed to be implemented. It a shame a bunch of adults can't self moderate.

Although I'm very busy with work and family responsibilities, I take time to see what's happening on this forum as well as work on my trains. I think this is a good forum and the "slow down" is cyclical. I haven't posted any Alclad related threads as I'm currently submitting one to MRH, although what's frustrating is "zip filing" the info and photos as well as the 34mb upload limit posted by MRH. Since I'm not an internet whiz, it's a bit confusing and cumbersome for me. I "zipped" my document and photos with something called "zip creator", which I understand is supposed to "compress" my info to a small size, yet MRH software won't accept it and my hotmail account won't send it. On hotmail a box opens telling me I'm over the 24mb limit. So is compression working or not? I'll keep playing with it to see if I'm doing something wrong.
On another note, I'm concerned about the new "Passengers and Commuters Modelers Forum". It seems to have potential, yet too few modelers are participating in it. I'm hoping that with all of the passenger threads that we've seen on this forum and the Atlas forum, that more "varnish modelers" would participate.
:-)
