Help! I need to find a cab for my U25b 2501 it had a slight derailment and fell to the floor of the basement. A scale fall of about half a mile , but the only damage was to the cab of the locomotive. I looked into getting a cab and painting it, but my skills are not quite up to it yet. I also noticed that the older kato units are a different color from the newer classic units. If anyone has one of these that is not running and wants to sell it for parts or has a cab with the right numbers, please contact me.
thanks

offhand,GE,EL,NH,GN,C&O,NYC,PRR,PC,CR had U25Bs numbered 2501. so the roadname may be slightly important. Edit: Wabash U25Bs were numbered 500-514,to N&W 3500-3514, a wreck rebuild came back as N&W 3515. Ray, sorry to slighly hijack Your thread, but it is intresting how many roads had U25Bs in the 2500s !! of course EL had the BEST Looking ones !! Spikre
