the Original RC GP units were made in the USA by Intermountain for RC.
they used the Trucks from the Atlas F9,possibly the Motor also,but I'm not sure it wasnt a Pittman motor ??
You may have Slipping U-Joints,the only way to find out is to Remove the Shell.
You might want to Add Flywheels if the unit doesnt already have any.
these units are different Mechanically from the later Atlas revamped units.
