Hi Robert,
Yes, I am done with HO. N-Scale has always been my favorite and I have been wanting to return to it. Problem was lack of modeling or detail parts. So I decided it was time to make my own and enjoy the scale I really like. All my HO stuff is packed away in a box. Not much of it. If anyone wants it, make me an offer :-).

I am still going to keep my Copper State Railway scenario as well as 500 & 509. I have had the concept for many years, but just recently did modeling with it. Everything else though I can sell off.
Primary motivation. Well, N-scale is what I started in way back in the early 1970's. I picked up on HO because of the modeling aspect of it. I always wanted N to be that way. After producing some parts in HO, I figured I could do the same thing in N. So instead of pining for N to be the same as HO, I figured what the heck, why not quit complaining about it and just do it yourself. It can be done and just takes a little time and effort. I thoroughly love the design and development part of it. Especially when you see the parts come together on a model. If I could do this for a living, I would be there and never look back. But as a side thing, that is second best for me.

Brian I would make an offer, but it seems we are in a similar boat, I too want to go back into N scale (as my screen name suggests) At the same time I am an odd ball because I like the Sound part of HO, (mainly because I live 30+ minutes from the nearest mainline in any direction and gas is still expensive) so I don't want to part with my stuff yet... and if I had the space (space for N scale? lol ) I would have two layouts, one for N and one for HO, both being equal in size so I don't become biased.
But regardless if you have anything you still want to sell train wise, I could always use freight cars... let me know.
