Has anyone used the BLMA tread plate? What were your conclusions? I'm building some GP60Bs and the modifications caused me to have to remove some of the molded tread plate.

I have just happened to use some on my current steam project. I think it looks terrific and applies easily. It is very very thin brass (I think they say .006"), so it doesn't add much thickness. I used Walthers Goo. I am not a fan of CA for holding metal parts. I find it to make bonds that are too brittle and prone to breaking loose.  |
