Hi guyz, Thought I'd give the place a try. A little bit about me and my hobby,I started back in 1978 my railroad was called MTS (Midwest Transportation System). By mid summer of 79 it was renamed the Grande Valley Railroad.Name was changed again in 1990 the the Grande Valley Railway and to this that is still the name it goes by. I am a multiscaler in that the GVR exists 5 different scales with Z the smallest and 1:32 the largest.I am a modern day railroad modeler (even my On30 layout is based in the year 2012) A few more detaila about me.I am currently 67 years old and pretty much enjoying it.

Welcome Catt. My wife and I do modeling in multiple scale too, but not all of it in model railroads. She kept her passenger trains when we had to leave HO scale, we have the N scale layout, and I build truck and car models in 1/25 scale. I imagine you have the same juggling act that I do.

Thanks for the welcome Doug. I rather enjoy working in multiple scales and like you I am into vehicle modeling too.The difference is my vehicles are in 1:144,1:160 and 1:87.
I also do some 1:64 modeling and in fact I am slowly building a 1:64 scale diorama to display some of the vehicles I have.I am a huge fan of scratchbuilding in most of the scales I work (?) in .
There are 15 buildings on my Z layout 9 of them are scratchbuilt. ;D

Hello Catt,
I am a "multi-scaler" as well; HO 1st, N 2nd, and O 3rd, well...On3. I am very interested in TT scale (1:120). It's small enough to build a decent sized layout in an average space, yet large enough to handle easily, and to see the detail on equipment.
