I'm glad to see the Rescue Forum succeeding. I signed on to several others after Atlas closed down, but this is the only one that has held my interest. I'm working on a brand new diesel project - an IHB SW1500 and I happen to have the best possible raw material: a new tool Athearn undec. I will hopefully post some progress pics - there isn't much in the way of obstacles for this project, just a matter of carefully studying the photos and getting to work.

Andy, as far as I know, 3 paint schemes are possible for IHB SW1500s (black/yellow NYC style, the old black/orange and the new orange/black). Which one did you choose ? Ciao.

...really good news, and may it continue to flourish!! I, like many of you, tried out a number of alternatives, but, like Andy has put it so well, this is also the only one that has held my interest. My daily model and real railroad fix comes from this forum and my visits to Trainorders...

25 May was 1000 posts, and in the few days since, we now have over 2000. I would call that a success.

 WOW!! That was a quick doubling of posts!! I hope we continue to grow membership and the number of folks who feel the need to post and reply.
