My wife got me this metal house kit for Christmas, and when it was done, it found this location on our layout. She's doing the scenery for it, but her job at the hospital is coordinating all of the computer network, and just about the time she started working on this scene, the hospital chose to go to a new computer program. If she's still sane when that computer mess is over, she'll get back to and finish this scene. It should be quite impressive. This scene pays homage to a Hank Williams song called The Mansion on The Hill. The scene overlooks a river valley, and represents what somebody with way too much money would do to get that perfect view.

Doug, that's a great view, but I can't help but wonder,.... Would you feel the rumble of the train as she passed under the house!!

That sure wouldn't be the time to be baking a souffle. It's actually a little ways behind the house, and I think she's planning to hide the tunnel entrance some.
