I posted this over at the Rustbucket awhile ago and thought it might be useful to some of you here. Highball Graphics has released the lettering for pink covered Co-op hoppers in both HO and N scale: highballgraphics.com/F-COOP-1W.htmIf you've ever wanted to decal one of the hoppers not covered by the Microscale set, now it is possible. For the rest of the data, use either the Microscale set or this Highball Graphics set: highballgraphics.com/FCD-2.htmAnd if you've never used Highball Graphics decals, you really should check them out. They are crisp and the registration on multiple colors is excellent.

Just FYI, Microscale makes a full set for RREX & RRRX Iowa Co-op covered hoppers (set # 87-1293). It includes all the small lettering to fully letter one of these cars, but it only has the Farnhamville, Klemme, and Mid Iowa lettering. This Highball Graphics set would work well with the Microscale set to let you do other schemes.

Thank you for pointing that out, Dave. That's a good set, but it won't allow you to do the other elevators, unless you can figure out a way to spell them using the letters on that set. Absent from the Microscale set are the UTCX reporting marks, but I think those could possibly be found on a tank car set. Also, I'm not sure if the red "WARNING" lettering over the center bay is included with the Microscale set.
The Highball sets won't get you all the way there either for some of the pink hopper schemes, particularly when it comes to numbers and reporting marks, but having a source for the large lettering is a huge help to me. I will now be able to model some of the other schemes that were picked up by BN secondhand.
