Ok, I got a new IM SD40-2W. Was I lucky, or normal? I took the shell off to put a decoder in. I had my trusty screwdriver in hand, and to my surprise, no screws! The plastic nuts were there, just no screws. I installed the decoder and installed some screws before testing and putting the shell back on. So is this now normal, or poor quality control on their part? I should add I purchased this from an online retailer so I assume it was new. If I would have purchased it from an auction site.i would not necessarily have the same assumption.
To be fair, I am very happy with both SD40-2W's I have. I have one from the first run, and now this one from the current run.

Don't worry Tim its is more the fact that N-scale is dead on this forum, and there are plenty of N scale forums out there.
