I just got tired of walking on eggshells. Not my style. I never got kicked off, or unsubbed - I just stopped posting. LOL LOL LOL... spoke too soon. My login has now vanished from the DD forum. Guess somebody is monitoring this one. LOL. Good riddance. I've never encountered a more anal moderator in 23 years on line, and I've run into some cases let me tell you. Hopefully all of my posts have also been deleted, so it looks as if I was never there. Andy Thats awesome Andy less then 2 hours to get the boot for posting on amnother forum. I too was a moderator there in he beginning. I think I was the 6th person to join the DD forum and posted a lot of electronics threads until I was gone.

Happy to oblige you! There are some very talented people that still remain and there are many very talented people that have left either voluntarily or through being shown the door. I fully accept that DD, this forum and all forums have a principle and if the principle and yourself butt heads...... guess who the loser is.....it ain't the owner! Then again maybe it is. If enough people get the boot, it starts to feel like the current state of the official Atlas forum... *Insert tumbleweed emoticon here* Update:Just to show you how bad it is, it look like the forum owner has restricted entrance to his site to members only, as I keep getting the login screen. I'm done...even with the lurking...

Reminds me of a certain railroad internet photo site, let's call it NetPictures.Rail, and a certain former member with a rodent nickname that has a personal vendetta against it, its members and its screeners, who constantly monitors the site and its forum, and starts up HooYa! and GroupFace groups to constantly bash photos, make personal attacks on the screeners, and everything else about it. It's somewhat amusing but sad at the same time. Then again, the ol' Atlas Forum is to modelers what that other site is to railfans. Haters gonna hate , but the smart ones bury the hatchet and move on.

I believe I've always been a pretty objective person. This is the reason why I don't mind when we have differences of opinion in this forum. That's the beauty of a forum, it's a place where you're supposed to use express your opinion. I don't believe in censorship as far as forum topics are concerned, but when it gets into personal attacks, and disruptive behavior, that's when I have to draw the line.
I'm not going to lie, I've had many run-ins with different forum participants in my early days of posting. However, you grow up, learn (or at least try to learn) some forum etiquette, and practice a little civility, and your forum experiences can be quite rewarding.
