Here's a short video showing the installation of a LokSound V4.0 decoder in an Athearn Genesis GP9. The install was pretty easy and straight forward. I also show a comparison between the sound of the LokSound decoder and a factory installed OEM Tsunami decoder in the Genesis GP9.
Cheers,
Kevin

Great video and esu has made my life easier on installs and getting that right sound..
Now not to high jack but I got a gp38 with the sd38 file on it And wondered if that's the right horn for a frisco 38?
If not how do I change it?? Scared to screw that up

Since he faced it down like I try to do I've put two slivers of double side servo tape on the ends and press against the edge where you see that upper ledge on the rear and my speakers never move or vibrate..
I tried to mount on the edge around the speaker face but fear if I ever have to remove them I'm going to ruin the speaker and rip it somehow

Kevin.....thanks. I have used silicon adhesive but it gets tricky when you have narrow mounting surfaces. Bob

Kevin, Nice Video thanks for posting. Why did you use a Version 4 vs a Select? I am going to put one in my SDL39 I am building and would like to know the difference. Thanks George
