....And how do we get there, folks? I'm running the NCE in 128, and have gone through the three step reprogramming to no avail. The chooch here is an Atlas SD24 Silver, and I'm using this decoder in the factory board. All I can get for low speed at 001 is what everything else is doing at 003, or so. What am I missing? The loco will run a lot slower on straight DC, so we don't have mechanical issues here. Thanks !

I pulled all my digitraxx out but you will have to lower cv5 and cv6 and most likely add some start voltage cv2 to get it going again..
My advice is to search for manuals and search on yahoo groups and youtube to see if anything was documented for slow speed performance in what you are looking for..

You can start with programming cv2 to 1 or even 0, then lowering cv5 and cv6 until it runs at the same speed as your other engines. If top speed is roughly the same as on your other engines, you only need to mess with cv6, which is midrange speed.
