It is a sound unit has the Loksound decoder in it, as for which one I dont know decoder pro when reading the locomotive there are 5 different options, but thats a seperate problem
Biggest issue is that the bell and horn work, ditch lights work, headlight and number boards work, BUT THE THING WONT MOVE!!!! I cannot seem to find a single manual on the internet for this thing, nothing was in the box with it.
I am using a digitrax zephyr, what keys do i use to get this thing going?

You may have to push the F8 key in order to start it up. It takes a good 30-45 seconds before it will crank up and start to move. It may also somehow be in a consist. Program CV19 to 0, and try again. It is a Loksound Select 4.0
By a strange coincidence, tonight I had to reset one of my Loksound decoders, and setting CV8=8 erased all the sounds. But that can be a subject for another thread...

If setting CV8 to 8 erased the sounds, it wasn't a factory install. Who-ever installed the sound file forgot to check the box to make the new settings become the new default.
Mark.

I was unable to do anything with F8, apparently the former owner had it matched to some other consist I was unable to see in decoder pro, in decoder pro there is alot of warnings about doing a factory reset and losing sound. Another person with some intermountain gevos said he did it successfully so I set CV8 to 8 and then all is working....except the sound I think this speaker is damaged it sounds HORRIBLE. I was going to upgrade it anyway though. I am somewhat disappointed with the unit though, especially in terms of pulling power. My IHC gg1 and bachmann spectrum dash 8 from the 90s with decoders both outperformed the Intermountain GEVO. I guess I'll get this unit running and probably sell it and get the MTH version thats coming out. Some folks have an issue with them, I however love my protosound 3 sd70ace heritage units.
