Not much based on postings on other forums. Many of the N Scale manufacturers did not attend and apparently there was no Manufacturers' Breakfast either.
Word is that the convention site was small and there wouldn't have been room for a full-sized display area anyway. The 2013 convention in Milwaukee will be more typical of these events in terms of size, attendance and manufacturer participation-- at least that's the plan.

I hope so. If it sucks, at least we can drink beer & eat brats. Plus if the Brewers are in town, we can see a game.

One thing I did learn since my last post is that there was a larger attendance than I had previously seen... more than 400 N Scalers. The Red Lion in Medford only has 185 rooms! There was already an overflow hotel set up in February.
So it makes sense that the convention was a little smaller than "usual." I've been told that it was a fun time, though the weather was unusually cool and wet for the end of June in southern Oregon. And it snowed at Crater Lake...

I saw registrations up to #437. Great convention, terrific MTL and Train Mountain tours.
