I cannot find nor know of any good train or hobby stores in the Philadelphia PA area. Am I missing any? Will be there sometime in August. Thanks

I remember a great store just across the Delaware river. Probably it was in New Jersey. It was 28 years ago (fall of 1984). Anybody remembers it ? Ciao. Raffaele

Raffaele Ted's Engine House was across the river. I went there once about 20 years ago. I had always seen his brass ads in MR for years, in the same place in the magazine. I don't remember buying anything but I might have. I "think" Ted's is gone now as I have not heard or read about him for a long time.

Wow, Nicholas Smith has the old Wanamaker's Lionel layout? Now THAT'S a piece of history. I'm in HO now but that was one of the earliest things that got me thinking of model trains as a kid.
